Iron ore crushing process

Iron ore is widely distributed in nature and is a very important material in industrial ironmaking. Currently, the iron metal required is mainly obtained from iron ore through processes such as crushing, grinding, beneficiation, and drying. The crushing process is a key step in iron ore processing.

The processing and crushing of iron ore mainly consists of equipment such as vibrating feeders, jaw crushers, cone crushers, circular vibrating screens, and conveyors. Other equipment can also be configured according to different user situations.

The original iron ore is uniformly fed by a vibrating feeder to a jaw crusher for crushing treatment, reaching 10-400mm. It is then transported together by a belt conveyor to a single cylinder cone crusher for intermediate crushing, and the reasonable finished product is screened out by a circular vibrating screen. If it does not meet the requirements, it is transported by a belt conveyor to a single cylinder cone crusher for processing.

In order to have a good particle shape and fine particle size, the impact crusher is used to crush again to meet the required particle size. Grading is carried out according to user needs, with 5-10mm and 10-20mm. Qualified iron ore is stored or transported to the construction site by pickup trucks.
